Anne Meegan (b. 2004, Memphis, Tennessee) is a Filipina American who has been creating and imagining since day one—born in a bathtub, she likes to joke she's been “a little extra” ever since.
Anne is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, illustration, and graphic design. Drawing inspiration from her sisters and surrealism, her work combines the human figure with unexpected objects and environments, creating imaginative compositions that challenge ordinary perceptions. She enjoys pairing elements that seemingly do not belong together to evoke curiosity, symbolism, and visual storytelling.
Her traditional practice includes acrylic, gouache, watercolor, ink, colored pencil, and graphite. Working in styles that range from bold, graphic, decorative compositions to soft, stylized realism, Anne emphasizes rich, saturated color palettes, complementary color relationships, and thoughtful value structures. Through intentional use of visual hierarchy, color, contrast, and composition, she guides the viewer's eye while creating drama, balance, and emotional impact.
